Mediation is a meeting where an independent person, the mediator, facilitates the discussion between parties in dispute to find a solution. Whilst the mediator is in charge of the process, the parties are in charge of the outcome.
Mediation looks forward, not backwards like litigation. It is not a fact-finding mission nor about who is right and who is wrong. It is about finding common ground. Unlike litigation,
